Lucknow beats Mumbai ...


                    Mumbai Indians lost the 8th match in a row. Mumbai lost to Lucknow by 36 runs. Mumbai captain Rohit, who won the toss, opted to bowl. Bumrah confirmed the captain's decision by dismissing De KoCk early on. However, Captain Rahul joined hands with Manish Pandey to start the rescue operation. Rahul led the way with four fours. Manish Pandey was dismissed for 22 off 22 balls. It was Pollard who knocked Pandey out. The other Lucknow batsmen who came next could not put up a good innings. But still Captain Rahul was sitting on one side raising the scoreboard. Meanwhile, Rahul has completed another century in the IPL.

          



At the end of 20 overs he scored 168 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. For Mumbai, Pollard took 2 wickets in 2 overs and Meredith took 2 wickets in 4 overs.

Captain Rohit Sharma gave Mumbai a good start after chasing 169 runs. But Ishant Kishan, on the other hand, was very upset to see the runs. Ishant scored 8 off 20 balls. The superstar who followed, Brevis, returned immediately. He managed just 3 runs. With Suryakumar out for 7 in 3 overs, Mumbai's situation deteriorated. The captain's innings did not last long. Krunal Pandya returned with 39 off 31 balls. 

Tilak Verma and Pollard, who came in behind, struggled but stumbled in front of Lucknow's sharp bowling. Tilak Verma scored 38 off 27 balls, Pollard scored 19 off 20 balls and Krunal Pandya took 3 for 19 in 4 overs for Lucknow. This is the 8th consecutive defeat of the Mumbai Indians.
