First ODI for West Indies ...

 


West Indies Won the First ODI Against Ireland by 24 Runs. Ireland won the toss and elected to field The West Indies Openers Started the Innings Slowly. Mark Adair, However, Dismissed Opener Justin Greaves at 18. Andy McBrine Stunned the West Indies again as Pooran and Shai Hope Continued to Score. Pooran out for 13 Runs.


The West Indies lost Shai Hope (59) and Roston Chase (62).  Four West Indies Batsmen Entered the Tent with a Score of 62.  But Together with Brooks Captain Pollard Playing the Maiden Odi Match Saw Another Chapter of the West Indies Struggle. The duo got Together in the 19th over and Parted Ways in the 42nd over. The Brooks, Playing their Maiden Match, put on a Stellar Innings. The West Indies came up with a Decent score as Pollard Added with the Opportunity. Pollard hit four sixes and four fours in his 69 off 66 balls. Brooksnu lost his Maiden Test Century by Just 7 runs. He scored 93 off 89 balls with 3 sixes and 9 fours.

At the tail end, Odean Smith's and J Holder's Small Incidents Added to the Score at 269. Mark Adair and Craig Young took 3 Wickets each for Ireland. Andy McBrine 2, Joshua Littile1 and Crutis Campher 1 Took Wickets Each.In Reply, Ireland Lost Opener W Porterfield for the first run. Captain A Balbirnie, However, joined forces with Andy McBrine, who came in 3rd. Andy McBrine's return to Hurt with a personal best of 34 was a setback for Ireland. The H Tector captain who came later threw the bat well together. Tector came out on top with a half-century. He scored 53 off 68 balls with 1 six and 5 fours. Captain A Balbirnie was dismissed for 71. G Dockrell and M Adair fought back, but Ireland were unable to catch up with the West Indies.
